Designed for user mental clarity and realistic productivity in mind.
Norby is a task manager iOS app that I founded and designed in 2022. Built to help users capture, schedule, and manage tasks with ease, Norby was created to reduce overwhelm and promote realistic, goal-oriented planning.
As the sole designer (alongside an iOS developer), I was responsible for the entire user experience—from initial concept to final interface design. I also stepped into cross-functional roles such as Product Manager and Product Owner, overseeing both the product vision and development process.
The goal was to create a task management tool that felt simple, intuitive, and empowering—equipping users with powerful features like: Quick task capture, Sub-tasks for better breakdowns, Timeframes and reminders, Productivity tracking with stats and badges, and more.
The experience taught me alot and helped me gain end-to-end insight into the product lifecycle
Norby ran from 2022 to 2024, offering a deeply rewarding and hands-on learning experience. As a founder and designer, I gained end-to-end insight into the product lifecycle—from initial idea and user experience design to technical collaboration, marketing, and product iteration.
Throughout the process, I learned how to: Manage timelines and budgets effectively, Collaborate closely with developers and understand technical constraints, Position a product for launch and attract users, and balance feature scope with user needs
Though its run was relatively short, Norby gave me the opportunity to build a product from the ground up and develop a versatile skill set that continues to shape how I approach product design today.
