Project Description

Yung and Connie

This was a fun and personal project for my wife and I. For my wedding I decided to take on the challenge of creating as much as everything myself. I created our website and designed the print deliverables. Our theme was Nightshift blue and gold. We were wed at small and beautiful garden venue in Fort Worth called Weston Gardens.

Date: October 2016
Client: Personal
Role: Web & Print

Print Deliverables

Our invitations were printed on 100lb French Nightshift Blue paper duplexed to 200lb with gold foil stamping on the invitations and envelope flaps. The paper is from the company French Paper and printed by Rise and Shine Letterpress. The food menus, RSVP’s, and greeting cards were printed in house. The script font used is Selfie. San serif font is Avenir Next.

Website

The website was built using Bootstrap. It’s a simple, single page website with a fixed smooth scrolling navigation menu and animated timeline. Photos that were used on the website were shot by Two Pair Photography. You can visit the website online at www.yungandconnie.com.

Save The Date Email

Our “Save The Date” email was created in HTML/CSS and we used MailChimp to send out to the masses. A mobile first design approach was important because we knew most of our friends and family used their phones for everything, 80% of the time. Our processional song was Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars”. We love camping and seeing the stars, and we like those string outdoor lights at night a lot, it’s something we want to do ourselves when we have our own home in the future.
